Why our elected

All the same?
Why the shame
Has left our eyes
Why the tricks
Are playing our muse?
Why the what
Will comfort you
Why the what
Comes at our cost?
Why the wisdom
Be the maid of a folly
Why the justice
Be the tool of cruel?
Why the peace
Be so submissive
Why the war
Be so proud?
Why the graves
Be of the gunshot
Why the wreath
Be of the flowers?
Why the hounds
We keep as our keepers
Why the lambs
Be always on altar?
Why the wounds
Be one’s pleasure
Why the flags
Be one’s treasure?
Why the wealth
Be our Vizir
Why the power
Be our pharaoh?
Why the demons
We have become
Of which
We were afraid?
Why the lullaby
Of mother is unheard
Why the love
Is so betraying us?
Why the eyes
Are not seeing
The harvests
Of our childhood?
Why the nightmare?
Why not our dream
Be for our freedom
Be for our ease!
Why not this moment
